These Football Coaches Know How to Stop the Clock

Coach Joe Lesesne stood watching the Wofford College football team run through a series of plays during a chilly practice earlier this month. With dusk settling, he removed his oversize sunglasses and scrutinized the list of plays he held in his hand.

"They're running a formation I don't recognize," he said, looking up as the offense ran another play.
