The Work of Campus Police
To the Editor:
I would like to clear up a couple of misleading or unfair comments concerning Western Kentucky University in "Over a Decade, College Police Have Become More Professional" (The Chronicle, May 4).
Your reporter, Martin Van Der Werf, writes that "campus police did not secure the crime scene for more than three hours." The WKU undergraduate's room, which was the site of a fire, was immediately under the control of the state fire marshal's office and the Bowling Green
