The Whole Truth at Patrick Henry

To the Editor:

In Graham Walker's letter to the editor (Letters, The Chronicle, June 23), he was eager to note how Patrick Henry College had recently hired a new staff member to bolster the college's commitment to academic freedom. This may be true, but there has been no evidence yet that Mr. Walker, or the college, is truly committed to that vital principle. ...

Walker's letter is most curious because he has taken up defense of the college and Michael P. Farris, its founding
