The War on People --Â and on the Truth --Â in Croatia
For some time after the war in Croatia was over -- although it was still in progress in Bosnia -- a young man who was a friend of my daughter stayed in our house in Zagreb. I noticed that he didn't switch off the light in his room at night. When I asked him why, he told me, briefly: He might wake up during the night not knowing where he was. He might have bad dreams -- dreams about his friends, soldiers who had disappeared in action in Bosnia and were very probably killed. But
