The Theories of College Marketing Go Only So Far at Some Colleges
Marlboro's campaign to attract unconventional students is derided as phony and hypocritical
Any college would love to count Langston Hughes, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jack Kerouac, and Janis Joplin among its alumni. Yet, while Hughes graduated from Lincoln University, in Pennsylvania, the other three never finished college.
