The Singles Scene
The word "transgendered" is the new "open sesame" to the doors of Oberlin College's single dormitory rooms. The college has adopted a new policy that puts students who identify themselves as transgendered at the front of the line for the institution's 405 single-student rooms. They will join others who already enjoy priority, including those with physical disabilities or serious psychological problems.
The change will help Oberlin's "significant population" of transgendered students,
