The Pros and Cons of Apple in the College Market

I am not surprised to hear that many colleges and universities are moving to Wintel platforms like Dell ("Despite Raves for IBook, Tide Still Turns Against Apple," August 3). Never underestimate the save-money-now-and-pay-later thinking that has existed during the last 20 years of my career in higher education.
