The NCAA's Last Chance to Reform College Sports

An Open Letter to the Next President of the National Collegiate Athletic Association:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Congratulations on your appointment as president of the NCAA. In that position, you will have the opportunity to implement historic changes that could have a lasting benefit for -- or do great harm to -- American higher education.

You will notice when you talk to staff members at your headquarters in Indianapolis that one of their buzzwords is "stakeholders" --
