The Legacy of Anti-Semitism

James O. Freedman provides valuable insight into the mind of a university president confronting moral issues, in this case the 20th-century history of discrimination against Jews and other groups in higher education ("Ghosts of the Past: Anti-Semitism at Elite Colleges," The Review, December 1).
