The 'Heartache' of Publishing a Book

There are two articles in the February 22 Review that concern publishing that I would like to comment on.

First is Willis G. Regier's "Great University Presses Make Greater Presidents." The main function of university presses these days is to validate ... manuscripts for tenure review.
