The Future of International Accreditation

As chairman of the Global Alliance for Transnational Education, the accrediting agency at the center of Goldie Blumenstyk's and Beth McMurtrie's article, I believe such an extensive and thoughtful exploration of issues relating to quality assurance in transnational education is significant ("Educators Lament a Corporate Takeover of International Accreditor," October 27). I was particularly encouraged by the fact that educators, though they may disagree on how to do it,
