The 'Diffuse' Field of Leadership Studies

Leadership studies is a diffuse movement, struggling to differentiate itself from traditional disciplines without renouncing its origins ("Students Gain Sense of Direction in New Field of Leadership Studies," October 30). As in any new movement, there are a variety of approaches, from the sublime to the ridiculous, and at present there seem to be a number of institutions positioning themselves
