The Contributions of a Labor Activist

To the Editor:

In your December 18 article on Kate Bronfenbrenner, you grossly misrepresent my views regarding her research ("A Labor Activist Turned Scholar Helps Unions With Recruiting Woes"). I believe that Kate's research provides significant insights into how union strategies affect union-organizing success. I am proud of her research and proud to have served as her Ph.D.-thesis supervisor.
