The Community College's Role in the Community

I served as a community-college president for 17 years; I was chief academic officer at two new community colleges; I was a tenured professor at three universities; for 13 years, I edited the major scholarly publication devoted to community colleges; and I taught courses dealing with the community college for 25 years.
