'The Chronicle' Wins 2 Publishing Awards

The Chronicle last month won two journalism awards.

The newspaper's World-Wide Web site was named as the best on-line service produced by a U.S. weekly newspaper in a competition sponsored by Editor & Publisher, a magazine that covers the newspaper industry.

The Chronicle's Web site won the same award in 1997, making The Chronicle the only weekly to have won twice in the four years the award has
