Sports Illustratedtook time out recently to draft a list of the top 100 sports books. Eight college-related titles made the cut.
6. A Season on the Brink, by John Feinstein: "The best-selling sports book of all time" is "an unsparing portrait" of Bob Knight when he was men's basketball coach at Indiana University at Bloomington. (How to buy this book)
21. Everybody's All-American, by Frank Deford: A novel that "captures the romance of 1950s football at North Carolina."
