The Art of Fudging
I have long championed interdisciplinarity. Overseeing interdisciplinary programs was my job at Duke University for eight years, and I'm a cofounder of the Humanities, Arts, Science, and Technology Advanced Collaboratory (HASTAC — everyone just says "haystack").
