Awards in science, economics, literature go to 9 working in North America
Nobel prizes in science were awarded last week to five researchers working in the United States -- two at Princeton University, a third at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and two who are not now affiliated with universities -- along with a Canadian professor at the University of British Columbia.
