The 15th Edition of 'The Chicago Manual'
To the Editor:
Peter Monaghan's failure to note that the 15th edition of The Chicago Manual of Style was, according to the book's acknowledgments, "principally revised" by Margaret D.F. Mahan somewhat distorts the picture of the enormous effort involved in the revision and overlooks an important link in its historical continuity ("For the 15th Time, Look It Up," July 25).
From a friendly distance, I have followed Margaret Mahan's progress through the arduous and detailed work
