Thank God for Football

It's a little after 7:40 on a Friday morning, the prime a.m.-drive time on KDKA, Pittsburgh's top-rated news and talk-radio station, and the hosts of the morning show are in the middle of a live interview with the new president of Saint Vincent College, H. James Towey.

Mr. Towey has been on the job here for only a month, following a four-year stint at the White House as President Bush's director of faith-based initiatives. But the topic of the day is not the president or politics.
