Thailand Approves Foreign Degree Awarded via Distance Learning

For the first time, the Thai government has recognized a master's degree earned by a Thai student from a university in another nation using distance education.

In March, the Thai Office of Civil Service Commission officially recognized the master's degree earned by Taweechai Suksithpornchai, who spent two and a half years studying for a telecommunications engineering degree from National Technological University while working for a Thai company.
