Texas Southern U. Agrees to Repay U.S. for Financial Aid
By FRED WOODHAMSTexas Southern University has tentatively agreed to pay $10.5-million over 10 years to reimburse the U.S. Education Department for federal financial aid it received improperly.
The university's Board of Regents is expected to approve the settlement, which was reached after three years of negotiations with the department.
