Texas Medical Center Gets $50-Million Gift
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas has received a $50-million gift, its largest ever, from an anonymous donor.
The money will be used to improve the quality of clinical care at the medical center and to support basic research, with the aim of developing new treatments and cures for diseases.
