Texan's Party Switch Forces Democrats to Replace Him on Science Panel
U.S. Rep. Ralph Hall's decision to switch political parties by joining many of his fellow Texans on the Republican side of the aisle in the House of Representatives sparked some shuffling on the Committee on Science last week.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Democrat of California, nominated Rep. Bart Gordon of Tennessee to replace Mr. Hall as the ranking minority member of the committee.
