Terms of Stevens Institute President's Departure Leave Some Wary of His Continued Influence

Harold J. Raveché will step down as president of the financially distressed Stevens Institute of Technology in July, but he has a consulting arrangement with the university until 2014.
Harold J. Raveché may be out as president of the Stevens Institute of Technology, but he won't be leaving the university's payroll anytime soon.
The legal dispute between the New Jersey attorney general, and Mr. Raveché and the financially challenged institute's Board of Trustees is over. However, questions remain about what role Mr. Raveché will play in the future of Stevens, based in Hoboken. His high salary and perks were primary targets of the attorney
