Tenure Troubles at Stanford

I read with horror about Karen Sawislak's tenure odyssey at Stanford University ("Denying Tenure: Who Said Anything About Fairness?," Opinion, September 17). Based on a reading of the tenure-evaluation documents she mentioned in her article, I think it is obvious that the dean of her school grossly misinterpreted the statements that her peers made about her.
