Tenure Review at U. of Colorado

Recent letters in your pages (Letters, The Chronicle, February 3) misrepresented the University of Colorado's self-examination of its tenure-related processes. The letter writers appear to lack a full understanding of the process and its intent.

We wish to remind The Chronicle's readers that the reason the University of Colorado System's Faculty Council asked the board and administration to join with them in this study was to assure the citizens of Colorado that
