Tennessee College Hit by Tornado

Volunteer State Community College took a direct hit from a tornado on Friday, and at least two buildings on the campus suffered severe damage, The Tennesseean reported today. Classes at the main campus, in Gallatin, about 25 miles northeast of Nashville, have been canceled until further notice, the newspaper said in a separate report, and only emergency workers are allowed on the campus. According to a Reuters report, none of the students who sought shelter on the campus during the storm were injured.
