Templeton Grant Focused on Astronomy

Richard Monastersky's article featuring Guillermo Gonzalez mentions that Professor Gonzalez received a grant to write a book from the John Templeton Foundation ("Intelligent Design vs. Tenure," The Chronicle, June 1). The grant was given through the 1999 Cosmology & Fine-Tuning Research Program. Other grant recipients included Andrei Linde, Martin Rees, Neil Turok, Bernard Carr, John Donoghue, Catherine Drennan, Alexander Vilenkin, and Laura Landweber.
