Temple U. Medical School to Remain on Probation
The licensing body for medical schools has reaffirmed its decision to put the Temple University School of Medicine on probation, the only medical school in the mainland United States to have been assessed such a penalty in the past 15 years.
The Liaison Committee on Medical Education, which put the program on probation in June, denied Temple's appeal. Representatives of the panel will revisit the school in a year. If the licensing body revokes the school's accreditation, Temple would
