Temple Medical School to Keep Accreditation
Temple University's School of Medicine no longer faces the threat of losing its accreditation, officials confirmed last week.
The Liaison Committee on Medical Education, which accredits medical schools, this month reversed its decision, announced in June 2002, to place the Temple school on probation.
Among the problems the liaison committee cited in 2002 were the school's aging buildings and the high debt burdens carried by its graduates.
