Telephone Company Overcharges Cancer Center in Texas

A major telecommunications company has billed the University of Texas's M.D. Anderson Cancer Center more than $120,000 for calls it never made, center officials said last week.

A consultant hired by the state blamed AT&T for "sloppy" billing practices that the center had complained about for years.
