Technology Manager Fired by TIAA-CREF Settles Complaint With Company
Christopher O'Keefe, a former TIAA-CREF manager who alleged that he was fired for speaking truthfully about the pension-fund giant's data-security lapses, has settled a formal complaint against the company out of court. Neither side revealed details of the settlement.
Mr. O'Keefe's lawyer, Darryll W. Bolduc, of Charlotte, N.C., said the settlement was reached on October 23. He declined to comment further. A TIAA-CREF spokesman also declined to comment.
