The College Board has acknowledged that technical errors in scoring some 4,000 SAT tests resulted in scores that were as much as 100 points lower than they should have been, The New York Times reported this morning. The board said it was in the process of informing students and the colleges they had applied to. But with many colleges nearing the end of the admission process for fall enrollment, the news may have come too late to save students with erroneous scores from rejection.
