Team Teaching, Team Learning
Since the summer of 2002, we have been engaged in an experiment in cross-disciplinary teaching that began with a series of questions. Could fields as apparently different as urban history and computer science -- with such inherently dissimilar conceptions of research, sources, and information itself -- be team-taught to students in both fields, in one undergraduate course?
