Teaching Assistants at Temple U. Vote to Unionize
Teaching assistants at Temple University have become the first in Pennsylvania to vote to unionize, with 95 percent of those casting ballots in favor of the union.
More than 500 T.A.'s will be represented by the Temple University Graduate Students Association, an affiliate of the American Federation of Teachers; 290 voted for the union, and 16 opposed having representation.
