Teachers Who Matter
At a time when many community colleges are struggling to deal with overcrowding and increasingly must rely on adjunct instructors, the efforts of proven professors have become all the more important. Faculty members at community colleges often teach first-generation students, who have responsibilities and complicated lives and sometimes find it daunting just to enter the classroom.
