Teacher and Friend
I still remember a special Sunday afternoon in 1970. I had just taken my undergraduate degree at Lafayette College, in eastern Pennsylvania, and my bags were packed. My parents were anxious to get away, but I had one last thing to do: I needed to say goodbye to Dr. Lusardi, the English professor who had, without a doubt, changed my life.
