Taking the Pledge to Treat Animals Gently

Thirteen colleges and universities have signed a pledge, sponsored by the Humane Society of the United States, not to subject laboratory animals to severe, unrelieved pain or distress. Many of these institutions, however, do little or no animal research. The signers are:

  • Amherst College
  • Cardinal Stritch U.
  • County College of Morris
  • Fairfield U.
  • Florida A&M U.
