Tackling Physics on the Field
You'd think that, teaching what is probably the world's largest physics class, Tim Gay would have trouble holding his students' attention. But not at the University of Nebraska when football's involved.
On the contrary, when the physics professor pops into view on Memorial Stadium's big screen during breaks in football games, the nearly 80,000 fans who have come to cheer on the Cornhuskers grow eerily silent. And they remain quiet for up to 90 seconds as the professor explains theories
