TIAA-CREF Chooses Former Merrill Lynch Executive as Its New Leader
The Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association-College Retirement Equities Fund named a former president of Merrill Lynch & Company as its new chairman, president, and chief executive officer last week.
The nonprofit pension company chose Herbert M. Allison Jr. to succeed John H. Biggs, who is retiring after nearly 10 years as president and CEO.
Mr. Allison, who will take office November 1, is now president and chief executive officer of AllLearn.org, an online-learning
