T.A.'s at Oregon State U. Vote to Unionize
Graduate teaching assistants at Oregon State University have voted to unionize, making the campus the 27th in the country with collective-bargaining rights for graduate students.
Of the 482 graduate students who mailed in ballots, 316 supported unionization. About 64 per cent of the 754 eligible voters cast ballots during a 14-day election. The tally was announced in November.
