Symposium on Future of Liberal-Arts Colleges Is Planned
The future of liberal-arts colleges is the subject of a major symposium next month at Trinity College.
The symposium, set for February 22-23 on the Connecticut campus, will bring together academics, writers, and public intellectuals. Among the speakers: the Nobel laureate Murray Gell-Mann, the theater critic Robert Brustein, the sociologist Orlando Patterson, and cultural critics such as Paula Fass and Louis
