Sylvan Learning Systems Acquires Paris College
Sylvan Learning Systems has bought a Paris-based college that prepares students for careers in business and management. Sylvan now has five institutions in its growing international division.
Sylvan, based in Baltimore, said it paid about $8.1-million in cash last month to acquire the Ecole Superieure du Commerce Exterieur. The four-year college enrolls more than 1,000 students at its campuses in Paris and Lyon.
