Sweet Dream
Micaela Weiss carries her aspirations in little paper packets.
This month the business-management student plans to stage the product launch for Free and Sweet, a natural sweetener she developed from the herb stevia.
A senior at — fittingly enough — Sweet Briar College, in Virginia, Ms. Weiss hopes to peddle her creation to local coffee shops and elsewhere. But her ambition is bigger, and sweeter, than simply selling a substitute for sugar.
