Survey Outlines Fund Raisers' Concerns
The increased pressure on colleges to raise $1-billion or more in private donations is causing fund raisers to worry most about luring talent to their institutions, according to research findings released last month by Eduventures Inc., an education-consulting company.
Eighty-six percent of fund raisers at 72 public and private research universities that responded to a survey said recruiting, retaining, and training top professional staff members was their biggest challenge.
