Survey Finds That Most Americans Want College to Prepare Them for a Job
Most Americans believe college should prepare them for a job, not just for life, according to a survey released last week.
But when asked about their own education, most respondents cited the general skills they learned, such as critical thinking, as more important than computer or other job-specific skills.
