Supreme Court to Hear Job-Bias Claim
The Supreme Court last month agreed to hear an appeal in a case involving a gender-discrimination lawsuit against Lynchburg College in order to clarify the filing deadline for federal job-discrimination claims.
The court will hear an argument by a former biology professor at the Virginia college that he met the deadline for complaining to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Federal courts have issued conflicting rulings on how to enforce the deadline.
