Supreme Court Refuses Company's Challenge to U. of Texas' Spam Policy
An online dating service that has been trying to market itself to students and employees at the University of Texas at Austin ran out of options last week when the U.S. Supreme Court spurned its request for a rendezvous.
The justices didn't let the service down easily, either. The court announced that, among many other actions, it was refusing to consider the dating service's challenge to a university policy that blocks unsolicited e-mail notices from its network.
