Superstar Academic Couple at Yale Looks to Move On; Sparks Fly Over Search for Head of U. of Texas Asian-American-Studies Program
Word is out that Hazel Carby, an influential scholar in cultural studies, is looking for a change from Yale University.
She has given "job talks" recently at New York University, the University of California at Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California.
